Q: Do I really need to clean my fuel system? Why?
A: If you need to save money - or just want to make sure you're not spending more than you have to - then cleaning your fuel system is a quick and easy way to do both. Cleaning your fuel system cost less than $40 per year and reduces fuel consumption by cleaning the deposits that routinely clog fuel injectors and distort the fuel spray patterns, decreasing fuel flow and efficiency. It also removes the moisture which tends to build up in your fuel system, reducing the likelihood of expensive injector repairs. Q: Is it OK to use the Diesel System Super Clean in vehicles with common rail high pressure injection systems? A: Absolutely. DSSC is compatible with all diesel engine vehicles. All diesel fuel system types can - and should - be cleaned; it's especially important to ensure any built-up moisture is removed from the fuel system as well. The technology behind all AUTOPROFI fuel system cleaners ensures the safe removal of the moisture, gums and varnishes that occur in combustion engines. |
Q: Why haven't I heard of AUTOPROFI products before?
A: AUTOPROFI products are just being introduced to the US retail market. For more than 20 years, the manufacturer of AUTOPROFI products has been focused on meeting the growing demand for automotive cleaning and care products in Europe and Asia. Thanks to agile manufacturing and lean inventory practices, it's now feasible to bring the worlds best vehicle performance technologies to the American market. Q: The label says that OXICAT is sufficient for 15 gallons of fuel. My tank holds less than 14 gallons - can I still add the OXICAT ? A: It's not recommended for OXICAT to be added to too small an amount of fuel because of the way the product is designed to work post combustion. Unlike a traditional "fuel system cleaner," OXICAT works once the fuel has gone through the engine (when combustion takes place) and is on its way out via the exhaust system. This is the point at which OXICAT cleans the built-up contaminants. We suggest adding to the tank at fill-up with between 12 gallons (minimum) and the amount stated on the can of 15 gallons / 60 liters. |
