The diesel engine in my new truck has a "Common Rail" fuel system.  What does that mean? Vehicle manufacturers are increasingly adopting common rail direct injection (CRDi) fuel systems for their diesel engine vehicles.  CRDi or "common rail" fuel systems supply diesel fuel to the engine under precisely-controlled pressure, resulting in increased power and responsiveness, reductions in fuel consumption, and fewer harmful exhaust emissions.  Watch this video from i-Corner to see a Common Rail diesel engine in action.
